Group Visit Sponsor - NorPro Training Ltd

NorPro

Norpro Training Ltd has evolved from the training delivery which has been offered from the North Prospect Garage Project. With our core curriculum of qualifications expanding into the fields of carpentry, marine engineering and fabrication and welding it was felt that the new name would be more appropriate. Norpro Training Ltd has now become the registered charity and will deliver training out of two sites, which will include the North Prospect Garage Project and Blagdons Boatyard. So for any queries to do with mechanical qualifications please use the contact details for the North Prospect Garage Project - if however your query is about marine engineering or carpentry please contact Norpro Training.

UTC Plymouth: a cutting-edge engineering college providing a stepping stone into lifelong, successful careers
At UTC Plymouth we offer an education that combines rigorous academic study, practical hands-on learning and experience of work for anyone aged 14 to 19 years. We provide a sound educational foundation for young people interested in developing a career in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths. The college, which is supported by the Royal Navy, Plymouth University and a range of employers through Plymouth Manufacturing Group, mainly focuses on Engineering and STEM related subjects. Currently in the UK, we need to double the number of graduates and apprentices entering the engineering industry, here at UTC Plymouth we are helping to achieve this by producing well-educated and highly skilled individuals. We are helping solve this shortage by teaching a diverse curriculum with multiple pathways which is tailored to suit the varying wants and needs of the students.
